The IC TE1 "Zippilli-Noè Lucidi" is among the 1,212 schools that, at European level, received the 2018-2019 eTwinning School Certificate in March 2019.
The principle behind this new certificate is that eTwinning wants to recognize and praise the participation, commitment and dedication not only of individual eTwinners, but of teams of teachers and managers within the same school.

Obtaining eTwinning School status means having completed a development path characterized by elements that can be concretely evaluated. It is not a competition, but a progress from one level to the next.

What does it mean to be an eTwinning School? Have considerable visibility at European level, be part of a European network of leading eTwinning schools; be recognized as a leader in the following areas:

digital practice
eSafety practice
innovative and creative approaches to pedagogy
promoting continuous professional development of staff
promoting collaborative learning practices for staff and students
Staff and leaders of award-winning schools will be invited to participate in dedicated professional development programs.

L'Istituto Comprensivo "Zippilli-Noè Lucidi" è tra le 1.212 scuole che, a livello europeo, lo scorso marzo 2019 ha ricevuto il Certificato di Scuola eTwinning 2018-2019.

Il principio alla base di questo nuovo certificato è che eTwinning vuole riconoscere e lodare la partecipazione, l’impegno, la dedizione non solo di singoli eTwinner, ma di team di insegnanti e dirigente all’interno della stessa scuola.

Ottenere lo status di Scuola eTwinning significa aver compiuto un percorso di sviluppo caratterizzato da elementi concretamente valutabili. Non si tratta di una gara, ma di un progresso da un livello a quello successivo.

Cosa significa essere Scuola eTwinning? Avere notevole visibilità a livello europeo, far parte di una rete europea di scuole leader in eTwinning; essere riconosciuta come leader nelle seguenti aree:

Il personale e i dirigenti delle scuole premiate saranno invitati a partecipare a programmi di sviluppo professionale dedicati.

 

The first mobility of the Erasmus + Project took place from 21st to 27th October 2018, with the participation of 12 pupils and 10 teachers from Germany, Portugal, the Czech Republic and Spain. The foreign students were kindly hosted by the families of the secondary school pupils of the Scuola Sec "Zippilli" who, with the fourth and fifth classes, are the direct participants in the project. During the week the students were involved in workshops at the University of Teramo, Radio Frequency, to learn and experiment with the radio recording, editing and podcasting techniques. In international teams they have created radio listings and recorded the promo of their radio program. Then, they participated in eTwinning workshops at the Noe Lucidi Primary School together with the fifth classes, in art workshops, music labs and visited Castelli, Arzinano, Civitella and the town of Teramo. The Mayor praised the initiative and met the participants at the Noe Lucidi School, stating that "to build a sense of belonging to Europe we must start from the lower levels of education because only in this way we can give concreteness to active citizenship!".

"Erasmusplus for future: Climate Change" is the new Erasmus project of the Institute funded by Europe. 
The partnership is made up of Germany, Sweden, Romania, Spain and the Czech Republic.
The project aims at the development and exchange of knowledge, of good practices in the field of
environmental sustainability. Among the shared actions, the partnership aims to build a team of students,
ambassadors of the environment (European Youth Climate Council EYCC) who, in collaboration also with local,
regional and national institutions, can concretely contribute to improving well-being environmental. Several topics will be explored: the impact of climate change on flora and fauna, of plastic on the environment, of energy saving, ...
The broad and composite partnership will propose creative and effective solutions, shared at European level, to mitigate
the effects of change climate on the environment and human life.
The activities will be integrated into the truthful and horizontal UDAs of the Institute, and will involve all school orders. The project provides for the mobility of students and teachers (international classes of the Secondary School and fifth of the Primary School)
at the partner schools, who will currently meet and collaborate on the eTwinning Platform. These are the activities over the two years: participation of partners in the Fridays for Future march, which will take place in Bremerhaven, Germany, with the participation of Greta Thunberg; "That's me and my school and our efforts for a better climate", presentation by students on the eTwinning platform; exchange of information on the main topic of the project, climate change; experience the impact of plastic on climate change, mobility in Italy; impact on flora and fauna caused by climate change and how to manage it in a positive and decisive way, mobility in the Czech Republic; "We are the shield of the earth": mobility in Romania; "Alternatives (e.g. hydrogen and Alternatives (e.g. hydrogen andothers)": mobility in Spain; "Summing up, Summing up, Perspectives, Actioon": mobility in Sweden. The launch and presentation of the Project will be on October 15 at 10:30 am at the Sec. "Zippilli" School,
with the intervention of the Headteacher Dr. Lia Valeri, the project coordinator, Mr. Heiko Lehn,
the Councilor for environment of the Municipality of Teramo, Dr. Valdo Di Bonaventura and eTwinning Ambassador Lia Molini. The project involves the collaboration with the Zooprophylactic Institute of Teramo, the C.I.E.R.,
for the disposal of plastic, the University of Teramo

"Erasmusplus for Future: Climate Change": Progetto Erasmus KA229_2020-2022

"Erasmusplus for future: Climate Change" è il nuovo progetto Erasmus dell'Istituto finanziato dall' Europa La partnership è costituita dalla Germania, dalla Svezia, dalla Romania, dalla Spagna e dalla Repubblica Ceca. Il progetto mira allo sviluppo e scambio di conoscenze, di buone pratiche nell'ambito della sostenibilità ambientale. Tra le azioni condivise, la partnership si propone di costruire un team di studenti, ambasciatori dell'ambiente (European Youth Climate Council EYCC) che, in collaborazione anche con le istituzioni locali, regionali e nazionali, possa contribuire in maniera concreta a migliorare il benessere ambientale. 

Diversi temi saranno approfonditi: impatto dei cambiamenti climatici su flora e fauna, della plastica sull'ambiente, del risparmio energetico, ... L'ampia e composita partnership proporrà soluzioni creative ed efficaci, condivise a livello europeo, per mitigare gli effetti del cambiamento climatico sull'ambiente e sulla vita dell'uomo. Le attività saranno integrate nelle UDA veriticali ed orizzontali dell'Istituto, e coinvolgeranno tutti gli ordini di scuola.

Il progetto prevede mobilità degli studenti e docenti (classi internazionali della Scuola Sec. e quinte della Scuola Primaria) presso le scuole partner, che al momento si incontreranno e collaboreranno sulla Piattaforma eTwinning. 
Queste le attività nei due anni:
  • partecipazione dei partner alla marcia Fridays for Future, che si svolgerà a Bremerhaven, Germania, con la partecipazione di Greta Thunberg;
  • "That's me and my school and our efforts for a better climate", presentazione a cura degli studenti sulla piattaforma eTwinning;
  • scambio di informazioni  sull'argomento principale del progetto, cambiamenti climatici;
  • sperimentare l'impatto della plastica sul cambiamento climatico, mobilità in Italia;
  • impatto su flora e fauna causato dal cambiamento climatico e come gestirlo in modo positivo e risolutivo, mobilità in Repubblica Ceca;
  • "We are the shield of the earth": mobilità in Romania;
  • "Alternatives (e.g. hydrogen andAlternatives (e.g. hydrogen andothers)": mobilità in Spagna;
  • "Summing up,Summing up,Perspectives,Actioon": mobilità in Svezia.

Il lancio e presentazione del Progetto sarà il 15 ottobre alle ore 10:30 presso la Scuola Sec. "Zippilli", con l'intervento del DS Dott.ssa Lia Valeri, il coordinatore del progetto, Mr Heiko Lehn, l'Assessore all'ambiente del Comune di Teramo, Dott. Valdo Di Bonaventura e l'eTwinning Ambassador Lia Molini.

Il progetto prevede la collaborazione con lIstituto Zooprofilattico di Teramo, la C.I.E.R., per lo smaltimento della plastica, l'Università di Teramo.
